Born and raised in the corner of Italy between Austria and Slovenia, I soon started to become fascinated with other cultures and realities. As soon as I turned 16, I left my nest and moved to California, U.S.A. to get to know another part of this world. I graduated from the University of York, UK with a BA in Sociology with Social Psychology and I recently completed the MA course in International Journalism at Cardiff University, UK.
Being passionate about social and cultural inequalities, I made it my goal to follow the path of investigative journalism in order to combat Human Rights violations. With particular interest in Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights, Women’s rights, LGBTIQ rights and Freedom of Expression, I intend to give a voice to all those who never had one.
I speak fluent Italian and English, intermediate Spanish and basic Portuguese.
Cinephile, Explorer and a bit of an Idealist, I chose the Documentary pathway to portray the truth through lenses.
